The Promise, in One Paragraph
When Westlight Windows & Doors finishes a job at your home, we hand you a written guarantee before we leave the driveway. That guarantee runs for 365 days from the date of service. If the workmanship we performed or the parts we supplied fail within that window, we come back and make it right at no charge to you. No forms to fill out. No fees. No negotiating. One call and we schedule the return visit. That’s the whole promise.
What’s Covered
- Our workmanship: any installation, fitting, or finishing work that Westlight crews performed on your project is covered for the full 365 days.
- Parts and products we supplied: windows, doors, and hardware sourced through Westlight and installed by our crew are covered under this promise for the same period.
- A no-cost return visit: if something isn’t right, we schedule a return visit free of charge – no service call fee, no diagnostic fee, nothing.
- A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold: if we come back, fix it, and the same problem comes back again, we return a second time and correct it properly, still at no charge.
- A clean job site: part of our commitment is leaving your home the way we found it; if clean-up wasn’t right, that’s on us to fix too.
- A straight answer: when you call (903) 354-7134, a real person answers – not a recording – and they can pull your job file and get a visit scheduled on that same call.
What Isn’t Covered
We want to be straight with you here, because a guarantee with no honest boundaries isn’t really a guarantee – it’s a sales line. These exclusions are ones most homeowners would call fair:
- Storm, impact, or accident damage after our visit: if a hurricane shutter gets bent by a flying branch or a door panel takes a hit from a vehicle, that’s outside our workmanship promise – though we’ll still come look and give you an honest assessment of the repair.
- Work performed by another contractor: if someone else worked on the windows or doors after we finished, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do.
- Parts or products the customer supplied: if you sourced your own hardware or materials and asked us to install them, those items aren’t under our product coverage, though our installation labor still is.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install: existing frames, sills, or hardware that were already in place and were not part of our scope aren’t covered by this promise.
- Problems you declined to have addressed: when our crew flags something during a job and the customer decides not to have it fixed at that time, we document it and we’re not responsible if it develops further – but we’ll quote the fix without pressure whenever you’re ready.
- Cosmetic preferences after the fact: a color, finish, or style you chose and approved in writing before installation isn’t a workmanship failure; that said, if we made the wrong call on your behalf, we’ll own it.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Give us a call at (903) 354-7134 or book online
A live person answers around the clock, every day of the year. You don’t need a receipt, a contract number, or anything in hand – we keep the job on file.
Step 2: Tell us what’s happening and roughly when the job was done
A general description of the problem and an approximate date is all we need to pull your record and figure out what’s going on. There’s no form to complete and no fee to initiate a return visit.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We give you a real arrival window, the same way we did on the original job – not a six-hour block, but a committed time you can plan around. That’s part of the Kingswell Guarantee, and it applies to return visits too.
Step 4: We make it right
Our crew comes out, assesses what happened, and corrects it. If the fix doesn’t hold on a second visit, the Free Second Visit promise kicks in automatically – you don’t have to ask for it or negotiate. It’s already yours.
Timing
The 365-day window opens on the date your job was completed and closes exactly one year later. If you reach out with a concern a week or two past that date, we’re not going to slam a door in your face – we’ll come look and talk through what’s reasonable. We’re not in the business of hiding behind calendar technicalities. That said, the written guarantee as stated runs 365 days. Each Westlight location is independently owned and operated, but every location runs on the same Kingswell Guarantee. Wherever you are, the promise is the same.
Questions About the Promise
If something isn’t clear here, or if you have a specific situation you want to talk through before calling in a concern, reach out directly. A real person is on the line at (903) 354-7134, any time of day or night. There’s no chatbot, no voicemail maze – just a straightforward conversation. We’d rather answer a question now than have a misunderstanding later.
